Whether we chat via Zoom or, if you’re local, we can meet in person and talk all about your wedding vision. I’ll also walk you through what destination wedding photography looks like from my end. We’ll go over travel logistics, timelines, etc. Most importantly … how I can help you stay relaxed and confident no matter how far from home you are. By the end, you’ll have a clear sense of what working together feels like. **Spoiler: it’s like chatting with a friend who’s also really good with a camera.**
Step 2: Booking
Once we’ve decided we’re the perfect fit, let’s make it official! A signed agreement and a paid retainer reserve your date and destination on my calendar. Destination weddings take extra planning and coordination with the travel involved. So I handle as much of that as possible for you—from travel details to backup systems. This way you can focus on dreaming up the perfect celebration. When your wedding is on my books, you can relax knowing that your destination wedding photographer is just as excited about your adventure as you are.
Step 3: Engagement Session
Before we hop on a plane, we’ll schedule your engagement session! This is one of my favorite parts of the process. Why? You’ll get comfortable in front of my camera (no modeling skills required!) and walk away with stunning images you can display around your home or use in your stationery suite. Step 4: Timelines & Details
Don’t worry about sorting out the details of the photography timeline because I’ll take care of that for you. I work closely with you and your wedding planner to nail down a timeline that ensures every important moment—from your first look to your last dance—is beautifully captured without feeling rushed.
