How long have you been a wedding photographer? how many weddings have you photographed?
I photographed my first wedding in 2007 (if that doesn't age me!), when I was interning for a wedding photographer in Virginia Beach. Since then, I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in photography, worked full-time with a wedding photojournalist, and then started my own company in 2012.
I would guesstimate I have shot over 300+ weddings, but I honestly lost count!
Do you travel?
Absolutely! As a destination elopement photographer, I believe life is one big adventure worth exploring. And who better to explore it with than your partner (and photographer to document it)? I have shot weddings everywhere from California and Florida to Mexico and Martinique. Not to mention, that personally, I have traveled to some of the most beautiful places! My top faves? Australia, Ireland, Costa Rica, Korea, and Italy.
What do you require to secure my wedding date?
Simple: a signed agreement and 1/2 of your total amount. The other half is due thirty days before your wedding day. Payment plans are available!
How long before we receive our images?
You'll receive a sneak peek of 10-20 images within 48 hours after your wedding. The wedding gallery and flash-drive will be delivered within 4-6 weeks post-wedding.
How many weddings do you photograph per year?
I only accept twenty weddings per year. This allows me to focus and really give my couples 100%. When you email or text me, I will respond within 24 hours, because I believe in customer service. Wedding planning is hard enough. So if I can help ease your stress by answering your questions or concerns on my end, I'm happy to do so!
I also want to get to know my couples, be fully present and invested in them and their weddings. But, not only that, but the burn-out is real. After 12+ years, I've learned the key to continue to love what I do, keep my creativity, stay inspired and find inspiration, and not burn out is to limit how many weddings I take on. Balance and boundaries are key!
