Beach Elopement
Lisa-Marie and Jim’s Fort Lauderdale beach elopement at sunrise was everything they dreamed of. Intimate and romantic, these two said their vows with just them and their officiant as witness. Blue, yellow, and orange painted across the sky as the sun rose over the Fort Lauderdale ocean. This made for the most beautiful backdrop for the couple’s elopement.
And in just a few months, Lisa-Marie and Jim will celebrate their wedding reception in France with their children and family and friends.

This Hilton hotel is the perfect place for any wedding or elopement. It offers panoramic Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal Waterway views. Only three miles from Las Olas Boulevard’s vibrant restaurants and shops, it’s conveniently located less than seven miles from the Fort Lauderdale Airport. After their Fort Lauderdale beach elopement, we headed over to their hotel for some photos. Unfortunately, when the sun came up, it became unbearably hot and they needed some air conditioning (that’s Florida in July for ya!)! Luckily, the interior of the resort is super cool (both in temperature and in design!).
As a photographer, I love all the leading lines in the hallways and the “connect 4”-like structures!
We quickly ran outside for a few photos out on the balcony. With the sun beaming down on us, it was blistering hot! However, these two were troopers! Plus, the views and the lighting was so beautiful! We had to snap a few while we had a moment!
