Jasmin and Anthony’s Villa Antonia wedding was a special one to be a part of. I first met the couple at a venue’s open house and it was an instant connection. It started with realizing we worked out at the same gym. Then, as we kept conversing, we had so much more in common: our love for animals, boba tea, Disney, and adventures. You can only imagine how thrilled I was when they booked me to photograph their wedding!
They say when you know, you know ..
“Two years of relentless struggle had shaped Jasmin’s life into a series of exhausting nights and quiet mornings. Working overnight shifts at an emergency veterinary hospital, she had dedicated herself to paying off her student debt, one paycheck at a time. Her best friend, Samantha, had been her rock through it all, offering her a place to stay and unwavering support.
Miles away, Anthony was busy with his own routine. Working with his father at their family-owned transmission shop, he spent his days rebuilding transmissions and learning the intricacies of the trade. Despite living at home, he found comfort in the steady rhythm of his work.
Fate had a way of intertwining lives when least expected.
One night, Jasmin found herself scrolling through Tinder. She wasn’t expecting much—just a distraction. But then, she saw Anthony’s profile. There was something about him that drew her in. On a whim, she swiped right.
Anthony, sitting in his room, was also on Tinder. He saw Jasmin’s profile and was immediately captivated by her smile, and a match was made.
Their conversation flowed easily. Jasmin was upfront from the beginning. “If you don’t plan on marrying me within two years, don’t waste my time,” half-joking, but also completely serious.
Anthony laughed and said, ‘Okay. Let’s do this.’
And the rest is history!”
After their engagement session, I knew that Jasmin and Anthony’s wedding was going to be amazing and so much fun. But I couldn’t imagine just how perfect!
I always recommend setting aside one to two copies of your stationery suite and then allotting time on your wedding day for detail photos. Your details tell the story of your wedding day. They matter as much as everything else on your wedding day!
I am obsessed with Villa Antonia’s bridal suite. Not only is it spacious, but it has so much beautiful natural light! In addition to this, there is so much attention to detail when it comes to the walls and floors. This sounds silly but when you walk in, you’ll understand what I mean. The textures on the walls with the fun textiles on the floor make for the most beautiful photos!
Because Jasmin’s best friend never got the wedding she dreamt of, Jasmin wanted to surprise her by dressing her daughter up in a wedding gown. I would say the flower girl looked quite beautiful as a little bride. And I don’t think she wanted to take it off!
Luckily, she had her own princess gown she got to dress up in!
Now it was time for Jasmin to officially become the bride!
Jasmin put on her mother’s earrings, that she wore on her wedding day…
With all the excitement, the flower girl needed a nap!
Jasmin and Anthony didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony; however, they did want an intimate moment. So they opted for a first touch. It was quite the emotional moment. Neither of them could hold back their excitement or their tears …
There are so many reasons why everyone falls in love with Villa Antonia. The views are just one of them:
Exodus Sound treating the guests with some live music as they arrived at the ceremony site:
Jasmin and Anthony’s wedding guests threw red and pink rose petals as she and her father walked down the aisle.
Because it was an “unplugged” ceremony, the bride and groom had their good friend and officiant take one huge group/ceremony photo before everyone was asked to put their phones away. I haven’t seen the photo but I can imagine it’s probably pretty cute!
With a kiss and a celebratory “Whoo!” These two are finally married!!!
Although we were able to get most of the family pictures prior to the ceremony, we had a few other formal photos we needed to take. So we quickly took those and the wedding party photos …
Then headed up the staircase for photos of the newlyweds!
I always find this to be my favorite time on a wedding day. It’s the calmest, where the couple can enjoy a bit of time to themselves. Although we’re taking photos, they’re able to take it in, have fun, and be a little bit more intimate.
Redbook Events did such a great job setting up all the decor! Simple yet elegant and exactly how Jasmin and Anthony pictured it:
While the couple enjoyed a private dinner in the bridal suite, cocktail hour was happening downstairs:
And then we set off for some sunset photos around Villa Antonia:
Before long, the two were introduced as husband and wife …
And went straight into their first dance:
Right after Anthony dipped her, Jasmin ran up the stairs to the sweetheart table where her father was waiting. She comically kicked her heels off and started their father-daughter dance.
Which lead straight into their toasts:
I wish I could remember exactly what their cake flavor was but I know matcha was in there somewhere. IF you know me, matcha is my weakness! It looked yummy, and, according to them, it was!
These two are just a total vibe!
The entire night was just a blast! Exodus Sound had everyone on the dance floor, whether it was by music or by him getting on the dance floor himself and showing them how to move!
Out came the LED wands and then their friends lifted them on chairs!
Jasmin is Cambodian, so throughout the night, they would perform traditional dances.
Bubbles is my favorite kind of exit. It’s fun and playful … and exactly who Jasmin and Anthony are!
After they ran through once, they were given bubble guns and had a little bubble gun “fight.”
Seriously, they are the cutest!
“I cannot recommend Naomi enough! From my intimate boudoir session to our dreamy engagement shoot and finally capturing every magical moment of our wedding day, she exceeded every expectation.
Beyond being an incredible photographer, she became a true friend—bonding over our shared love of boba and making every session feel like a fun adventure. Her professionalism, creativity, and ability to make us feel comfortable in front of the camera made each experience truly special. The attention to detail and artistic raw vision brought our love story to life in the most stunning way. Every photo feels like a masterpiece—timeless, emotional, and breathtakingly beautiful.
If you’re looking for a photographer who genuinely cares, delivers beyond expectations, and makes every moment feel effortless, look no further. Thank you, Naomi, for giving us memories that we will cherish forever!”
Thank you so much, J+A! It truly has been the most rewarding and amazing experience being your photographer and, now, your friend for life! Congratulations on your marriage and I look forward to watching your family grow!
