Just when I think I can’t be more obsessed with my last couple and session, another one comes along. And this time it features PEACOCKS!! This Mayfield Park engagement session was freaking adorable, but not just because of the peacocks. Although they definitely made our session fun and interesting. Chari and Louis are just the absolute cutest and I so enjoyed our time together, and cannot wait for their wedding day in 2025!
Chari and Louis met on their first day of freshman year at UT. “We met through a mutual friend during dorm orientation. After becoming good friends, we started to develop mutual crushes on each other a few years later when we were living in a shared house. Both of us were shy to express our feelings. We didn’t want to disrupt our friend group. But once we finally realized that the feeling was mutual, we went on a few dates, and we started to fall in love.”
Because these two are outdoorsy (they are big fans of camping, road trips, skiing, biking, surfing, and rock climbing), they wanted an outdoor engagement session. It boiled down to Mayfield Park, UT Campus, or Zilker Park. All great options! But Mayfield Park ultimately won, which I was secretly happy about because I love the peacocks there!
And the peacocks came out for quite a few photo opps …

Can’t wait to celebrate these two next year with the lovely Amy Bay at Pecan Springs Ranch!!!
