A while back, I met this fun-loving couple at an open house. It was an instant connection with our love for boba tea. Not to mention that we all worked out at the same gym! Talk about kismet!
Circling back to that boba tea, we met up for some to brainstorm their engagement session. Our ideas went everywhere from playing in an ice storm or skiing in Colorado to an in-home session or a destination one at Disneyland. We landed at a field of bluebonnets.
Infamous Texas Bluebonnets
The state flower of Texas. What covers our grounds right after winter, to signal the start of Spring. Their vibrant blueish-purple hues bring people from all over the state, and sometimes from other states, to take photos. Something this Virginian knew nothing about when I first moved here. Now, it’s become an annual tradition to have engagement and family sessions in fields of them.
Sunset Engagement Session
There really is nothing more romantic than sunset engagement session in a field of bluebonnets. And with a love like Jasmin and Anthony’s, it was pure magic. I had so much fun just letting them be them and capturing their love.
