I couldn’t be more obsessed with this destination elopement! Not to mention the couple! Give me any reason to hang out with the coolest people at an exotic location any day!
Belen and Spencer met in 2017 and, to this day, their love is a fairytale. The attraction and sparks were immediate. But through typical day-to-day adulting, their love for their fur-babies, financial and emotional hardships that come with that, they found love on a deeper and soulful level.
So after 1 year and 10 months, it was no question in Spencer’s mind that he wanted to spend his life with Belen. When he proposed, the answer was an obvious YES!
Having eloped myself, I’m always down for a romantic elopement! And the islands are always a picturesque spot to say “we do.”
Martinique is a part of the French West Indies. Located in the Eastern Caribbean, it is an island full of lush greenery, beautiful beaches, and crystal clear water. Not to mention, full of history and culture!
My heart bursts for Belen and Spencer! When first meeting them, Spencer is the outgoing one. Belen is a bit more on the reserved side. But once we got over the initial greetings and got onto the topic of their fur-babies and love story, both of them became excited. You could see the love and respect they have for one another and their puppies. As we sat in the lounge getting to know one another, it felt like we had been long-time friends.
I absolutely adore these two. Their kind souls, deep love, and contagious smiles are so warm and welcoming. And to know that I get to be a part of their love story … I mean, there are no words.
On a beautiful day in February, Belen and Spencer exchanged private vows on Plage de l’Anse à l’Âne. Although overcast, the weather was ideal with fluffy clouds filling the sky and the water so calm and blue.
The happy couple are low-key and opted to wear beach-friendly attire: Belen, wearing a white, fitted, calf-length dress, and Spencer in bronze pants and a breathable flannel shirt.
We started our session along the sands of the beach, before heading to the pier and then the streets of Martinique.
Congratulations to beautiful couple and thank you so much for letting me be a part of your destination elopement!
