It’s been about 1-1/2 years since I’ve seen this Georgetown family. That was when Anastasia was being baptized and she was so much littler!!! But she’s still the same cutie (just taller and older)!
Isn’t it crazy how time flies and how quickly your children grow up?! I don’t have human children of my own (only 4 fur-babies and 2-feather ones). But I’ve been blessed to watch a lot of my couples and families’ families grow, and I see it. What used to be an infant is now practically a pre-teen! It’s INSANE!
So is the case with this beautiful Georgetown family. Anastasia was so much more small and way more camera-shy. Now, she’s all smiles and already half the height of her parents!
Her baptism celebration in September of 2021 ended with a good meal here at Cimarron Hills Golf and Country Club. Not to mention, they are building their dream home in this community, so it holds a special place in their hearts.
How adorable are these mommy and me dresses?! 😍
Anastasia wanted a moment away from the camera, so I gave her a job: to tell her parents how to pose and where to stand. She was such a good assistant!
After our outdoor pictures, we headed inside to the room where they held Anastasia’s baptism celebration 1-1/2 years ago.
That blue room makes my heart happy!
I’m not sure what her dad is saying but it had her in a state of giggles!

You can never go wrong with asking the ladies to play with their dresses .. I love how it creates movement and brings out the child in us all!
I truly believe you should never take romance out of your relationship. Having kids makes it a little more difficult (or so I’ve been told). But if you make it a priority (and plan ahead), you can achieve it!
I take this approach in photographing my families. The children always shine and are my priority during my sessions. However, I always pull the parents aside for a little photo shoot of their own:
And, to finish off our time together, a few photos to update their LinkedIn profiles (another popular request that I’m always happy to help with):
It was so great seeing this Georgetown family again! Until next time (and hopefully I’ll get to see them inside the dream house)!
