Okay, but how cool is this Museum of Ice Cream bachelorette session? Have I mentioned that I love my job? I literally got to spend the morning with these cool ladies, following them around, taking their pictures, and having a blast at the museum.
Two months prior, the bride-to-be’s maid of honor emailed me. She requested a photographer to document her best friend’sbachelorette party at the Museum of Ice Cream (what an amazing best friend/MOH!!!) And, I mean … HECK YES!!! You don’t have to ask me twice!
So the day is finally here! And per usual, I show up super early to sneak in for some photos of the empty museum:
When the girls showed up, it was the normal questionable greeting, trying to make sure we approached the right person(s) 😂 But once that was settled, we were ready to go! And being the first ones in line, we got first pick of nicknames (sweets-related, of course)!
In honor of their bestie who couldn’t make it, they had printed out her photo to take her along for the journey!
First stop: getting their first dose of sweets:
Then we headed to the banana split room for more photo opportunities…
Colby and her maid of honor:
“Hello? Yes, we need more sweets, please!”
The girls had a little dance party in the red room before heading to their next stop:
Onto my personal favorite room, where you can whack-an-ice-cream, sit on an animal cracker carousel, eat cotton candy, and be all pinked out!
And what’s a bachelorette session without a little session of the bride-to-be?
The psychedelic hallway is always a hit!
After another scoop of ice cream, the girls got to personalize the walls. The walls will always remember that Casey💗Colby!
Okay, can we take notice of Miss Strawberry Shortcake’s (aka Presley) nails and how they match the cow-print walls?
The most interactive part of the museum is the playground that the girls had a blast playing in:
Which leads us to the infamous sprinkles pool:
Taking a short break, the ladies hang out by the sprinkles pool-side/cabana.
Did I mention that 4 of the ladies are engaged? All of them got engaged relatively around the same time. Best friends, soul sisters, and now each other’s right-hand wedding ladies!
Oh heeeeey! Look at that ring bling!
Our final stop: the great outdoors! You can’t miss the big ol’ pink building with its own ice cream truck parked out front! Before ending our session, the ladies played a round of Jenga …
And took the opportunity to pose in and on the ice cream truck:
Congrats to this bride-to-be (and to the three other lovely ladies)!!! Wishing you the most smooth wedding planning, wonderful wedding, and blessed married life!
Planning your bachelorette session and wanting photos to document you and your squad’s time together? Reach out! I am SO here for it!
