Alex has been planning this Fort Lauderdale surprise proposal for months. After having met their senior year of college, it’s now five years later, and Alex can’t wait to pop the question!
I set up my beach blanket and waited. Shortly after, a couple started walking past me. They set up their blanket and sat near the water, anticipating the beautiful sunrise they woke up for, despite their inner desire to sleep in. Or should I say, Alex’s inner desire since, as he mentioned to me beforehand, Becca always drags him out of bed for sunrises whenever they travel. Haha!
Just capturing a few intimate moments as the sun started to rise. Shortly after, they both stood up and walked to the water to take some pictures.
That’s when Alex dropped down to one knee and asked the love of his life to marry him.
And her reaction was priceless!
That’s when she noticed me in the background taking photos of them … and yet another priceless moment!🤣

So after their Fort Lauderdale surprise proposal and a quick change, we moved onto their mini engagement session. Luckily, being so early in the morning, we pretty much had the beach to ourselves.
Alex actually picked out the ring himself. I love how unique it is … and I’m always partial to some rose gold!
Congratulations to this lovely couple! Wishing you both all the love and adventures in the world!
