“Ladies and gents, this is the moment you’ve waited for …” The soundtrack and lyrics that get stuck in your head and you can’t help but sing aloud. The big movie of 2017: “The Greatest Showman.” And one of Avery’s favorite movies so when her mom, Modern Boca Mom, asked her what she wanted to be for Halloween, you can only guess what her answer was. Her answer leads us to this blog post: The Greatest Showman-inspired Halloween costume session.
Problem is, there isn’t a one-stop shop for an Anne Wheeler costume. Being the crafty lady that she is, Michelle (Modern Boca Mom) found a way! How did she do it? Check out her blog post and find out: DIY Greatest Showman Costume.
Florida is known for its tropical gardens, Spanish architecture, and beautiful beaches. It isn’t known for its circuses or carnival-like locations. So we brainstormed and Michelle found the perfect place:
Thank goodness for Sugar Sand Park! Their carousel was the perfect backdrop for this The Greatest Showman-inspired Halloween costume session.
And what’s “The Greatest Showman” without the Greatest Showman himself? Mister Aden plays the part of P.T. Barnum, in his adorable costume found on eBay. Doesn’t he make for one irresistible Barnum and these two are quite the duo! We just let them be them and it couldn’t have turned out more perfect. The two played around and, since Avery knows the movie by heart, she came up with poses all by herself.
Just a boy and his friend, Mister Elephant.Sidenote: the below pictures make Aden appear to be unsupervised; however, mom was hiding within arms reach. Children must be supervised on the carousel at all times.
Happy Halloween, my friends! 🎃
And what’s around the corner? The holidays🎄! It’s not too late to schedule your session for those lovely holiday cards. Reach out and let’s get it on our calendars!
