Florida Baby Photography: Stella
I love doing Florida baby photography, especially when it comes to working with sweet angels, like Stella! Although very apprehensive of me and my camera, her personality really shone. And you know how much I love capturing personalities!
Apparently, Stella knew something was up the night before. So instead of sleeping her normal schedule, she threw everyone off but changing it up.
Oh, how babies like to keep us on our toes 😉
Baby Stella
I started our session like I start all baby sessions … introducing myself and trying to get on the baby’s good side. Stella was not having it! 🤣 My crazy facial expressions, my weird noises, off-key singing … nothing worked!
From there, I just kept snapping away as mom and dad changed Stella:
Kissed her toes, flew her as an airplane to mom and dad … basically, anything to get a reaction out of her.
And, although she didn’t smile, we were able to get a few family pictures with her at least facing the camera! (and before it got too hot out!)
**Side note: I am totally in love with mom’s dress!!**
Stella is a huge daddy’s girl and was perfectly content in his arms.
Okay, seriously, babies in tutus just make my day!
Capturing her expressions and those eyes 😍 Every wonder what your baby is thinking? I’d pay $1,000,000 to find out!
Because who can resist those tiny toes?!
Our last attempt at getting a smile out of her …
Before heading to pass-the-baby-around and meal time!
And when the cell phone didn’t make her happy …
It was off to cradling and nap time.
Such a sweet angel. I just couldn’t get enough of those cheeks!
With nap time, comes the cute, sleeping baby pictures!

There are those toes again!
Just what the baby needed … a quick nap! Stella awoke, still apprehensive, but more aware of her surroundings and open to being entertained. Cue the cell phone and music videos again:
There it is – the best smile in the world!
A fleeting moment, but a moment just the same. 
To celebrate Stella’s 6-month birthday, the entire family came in for a family photo (followed by brunch!). I have a feeling Stella passed out shortly after this picture was taken!
