Last year, Avery celebrated her 4th birthday surrounded by “My Little Pony,” “Trolls,” and her closest friends and family. This year, she’s going a more simple way of celebrating: birthday portraits at Mizner Park.
Well, ‘simple’ might be an understatement. Especially since this session is followed by a trip to New York City to see “Anastasia” on Broadway (lucky girl!). I would say it sounds like the best birthday ever! In fact, can I just come with?! I remember seeing “Anastasia” as a kid, knowing the songs by heart (still do!), and collecting all the toys (barbies, stuffed animals, coloring books, and all).
Wearing pink, a special necklace given to her by her grandmother, and enough balloons to take her to the moon, Avery came fully prepared for her session.
What better setting to take place for this pink session? Mizner Park, of course! With its pink buildings, lush park, and fountains, it was an awesome backdrop for Avery and accented the session perfectly!
A little Mary Poppins action:It was so hard to keep Avery grounded with these balloons!#model status!Of course, I had to get a few in-between-shots pics. I mean, daddy carrying the pink balloons, Avery hopping and skipping, and mom in the back carrying all the bags … Ever wonder what really goes on behind the scenes of a session? Just take a look:The Modern Boca Family:And to recreate the image of Avery’s 1st year birthday session, we had her pose the exact same way. I don’t have any pictures of the picture we were referencing since we were working off of the picture from Michelle’s cell phone, but basically it’s the same picture, just a different location. Obviously, the main difference is age and Avery is actually able to hold the balloons this time!
Happy 5th birthday, Avery! Wishing you an amazing trip to NYC (take me with you!) and the best birthday yet!
