An Old Town Alexandria Pier Wedding: Lisa + Adam
A beautiful and intimate wedding for this adorable couple, who are expecting their first child in January. I was first introduced to Lisa my sophomore year of college in a wedding planning course (which ironically enough, sealed my fate as a wedding photographer as I met my mentor and future employer during his special appearance at this class) and we’ve been in touch ever since. She always said that when she got married, I would be the one to capture that day. So here we are today in Old Town and I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of it but more thrilled that she has met and fallen in love with the great and sweet Adam, and are on the path to expanding their pretty family.

The talented bride created her own bouquet, using Pinterest as her inspiration.
The last image taken before the harsh winds and hard rain pushed us indoors.
Because of the torrential downpour outside, we were forced to do formal photos at Bilbo Baggins. Thank goodness for the restaurant’s cute and unique backdrop!
They say that rain on a wedding day is good luck. With this downpour, Lisa and Adam will be the luckiest couple ever!
Congratulations you two (soon to be three!) … may you be blessed with years of a loving marriage and a healthy family!
