A Josephine Butler Parks Center Wedding: Christin + Steve
This was by far the most touching wedding I have ever photographed. From the important role that Steve’s son played throughout the day, the cut-out of Christin’s dog so that “she was there in spirit, on the cake, in a selfie cut out, and in our hearts,” the merging of their two families into one as their cake topper, to the remembrance candle during the ceremony, and the donation party favors … the whole wedding was so personal and emotional.
According to Steve and Christin, “The best parts of the day for us was seeing our families coming together, and all of our friends from different times in our lives meeting each other, enjoying themselves, and sharing the happiness with us. Seeing Ty so happy and excited was very special. His excitement and feelings about the day were touching for both of us.”
Such a touching moment between Christin and her “twin.”

Posing by Steve’s love note.
Christin’s puppy, Ebony, wasn’t able to attend so she was there in cut-out form (and as part of their cake topper).
Lighting the remembrance candle, honoring Christin’s father and Steve’s grandfather.
Steve is not a dancer and is rarely found on the dance floor … but his wedding day was an exception. Man’s got some moves!!
The amazing cake and cake topper.
I absolutely adore this family and wish them all the most blessed marriage and union! ♥
